The BeeVital hornet trap is highly selective. Only hornets remain trapped!
Insects, bees and others can easily exit through the small holes at the bottom or sides of the trap.
The insects are never in contact with the attractant (important for the sanitary aspect depending on the attractant).
The hornet stay alive for a certain time and attract other hornets with their pheromones !
The hornets attracted by the attractant follow the light in the trap and remain in the collection containers.
Please note that when using the trap, the local species protection regulations applicable in the region must be observed. If necessary, the trap must be checked daily for bycatch and, if present, this must be released in accordance with the regulations applicable in the region.
